COMMUNAL KITCHEN

The FoodCents communal kitchen is available for students who are living and studying in the City of Melbourne. It is a space where they can cook and store food products. Further, FoodCents runs program at and from the communal kitchen, these are discussed below.

FoodCents workshop
The FoodCents workshop runs on the first Wednesday of every month at @ 7pm.
These workshops provide students with information, demonstration and a time to practice safe cooking methods, while cooking cheap and healthy meals. These workshops are free of charge.

FoodCents walking tours
The FoodCents walking tours run on Monday @ 7PM and Saturday @ 8AM.
These walking tours take students that are living and studying in teh City of Melbourne to a number of locations in the local government area that are partners of the FoodCents program which provide discounts to students. These shops sell healthy meal options.
The walking tours will also take students to the local fresh food markets and show students how to buy produce from these markets and where the best bargins are located!
These walking tours will be available free of charge to students.
